Favourite Quote: Movement is not specific, it is rather unspecific and our ability to survive is directly related to how well we move! So move it or Lose it! - Various Sources including Ido Portal

A little bit about me

I was raised in India and moved to Australia, full of hope, big dreams and adventurous spirit. Let’s say that my life here didn’t pan out exactly as planned and I grew up REALLY FAST… Although, I am very grateful for each lesson I’ve learned in my life, I wish that certain things could've have been avoided, but everything has it’s price and anything worthwhile is never easy.

With humble beginnings to an internationally ranked squash player, I have seen and done a few things in my short life. However, one thing that has not changed, is my love for sport, fitness and health. Starting as a personal trainer in the ever ballooning fitness industry to being an entrepreneur, developing a proven methodology and process to getting strong, moving well and being superlative in everything I do, has always been my Number ONE Priority.

Bellydance Teacher

I was born in Argentina and came to Australia in 2019 for an adventure and ended up staying here.

I'm a bellydance and yoga teacher and I've studied other types of dancing as well: contemporary, jazz, salsa, hip hop, etc. I´ve learned different styles of yoga so I don't practice just one. I'd rather take the best of each and mix it in a nice flow, even adding some dancing moves from time to time.
You will find that I start most of my classes bringing awareness and resetting our posture, to build some structure so that we can move freely but organized at the same time. Hopefully you'll finish the class knowing a bit more about yourself, about how you move and how you operate on and off the mat.

Bach Nguyễn

I am an weightlifter and weightlifting coach, passionate about all things training. I emphasise technical proficiency and physical robustness, allowing every athlete to find their own best way.
Evidence-based practice is extremely important to me. I keep up with scientific literature in various fields, sharpening my skills so I can deliver a client centred, evidence-based approach. As a neurodivergent person (ADHD), I place great importance on inclusivity and creating a safe space for everyone to train in.

Tilly Osmo

My goal is to bring out the best in people, to help them find a spark and joy, using my soft skills and movement knowledge to overcome barriers. This shows up in all my work in diverse ways. Working with neurological disorders, this involves finding solutions to participate more fully in life- through strengthening and maintaining muscle to offset long term repercussions of disorder, to developing solutions and patterns to achieve goals. Similarly working with elderly and disabled, I also use a goal led approach to support them to manage and improve condition/frailty, developing individuals' resiliency and expanding movement options allowing for robust engagement in life, both mentally and physically

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Applied Science
  • Master of Osteopathy (with Distinction)
  • Dry Needling

I graduated from RMIT five years ago and have been working as an osteo since. I’ve been lucky enough to treat people from all walks of life, and with an array of conditions. In that time I’ve learnt how important it is provide people with a thorough education of their condition, which ensures you’re armed with the information needed to play an active role in your recovery, and the maintenance of your health.

As part of your treatment, you can expect me to ask a million questions, and not just because I’m super chatty and want to get to know all you lovely people better, but because it will (hopefully) allow me to find the root of your issues and get you back firing on all cylinders as soon as possible!

You can also expect an individualised approach depending on your presentation and other lifestyle factors. I want to try to take it all into account to help you as much as I can. I’m super excited to be working with you all - as members of Hydra I know that you’re all genuinely invested in your health and I can’t wait to hopefully help you on this path.
